This was our first book both authored and illustrated by Maddie Frost and we loved it! Love Maddie's writing and art. The art is so vibrant and fun! This story about an iguana not feeling as special as others is super relatable. The author managed to create a story that had humor, creativity, and adventure, while focusing on building the character up (and the reader too). We've bought 4 more of her books (Once Upon a ZZZZ, Wakey Birds, Smug Seagul, and Capybara is Friends with Everyone).
