Bandai Tamashii Nations SH Figuarts Android 16 Dragon Ball Z Action Figure - Collectible Anime Toy for Display, Gifts & Dragon Ball Fans

Aesthetically this figure is almost flawless, movement is excellent as expected from an S H Figuarts product but there are a few things lacking from this product. The first thing that struck me was that there are only two pairs of hands (clenched fists and open hand slightly bent fingers). I know in the anime/manga we don't see a lot of action from this guy but i would of thought there would of been more options with this figure. There are also no additional pieces with him, i half expected an extra hand with a bird attached at least showing off his gentler side. Also the arm connections are not very secure where you remove his forearms to expose the energy firing sections. Only flaw on the figure i found was in the tops of the forearms where the plastic has been attached to a mold there are slight marks there. He also comes with four heads in total where the hair is removable to be swapped in between the heads.Overall i give him four stars, he looks awesome with the other two androids but i have him currently battling against Broly.Persoanlly I think this is the strongest offer from this sub line from S.H. Figuarts dedicated to Dragon Ball Z, and here is why:-Tight joints: Unlike the rest of the figures this guy is a solid while standing and posing.-No gaps between articulations: Even the amazing Broly suffer from weird gaps in his shoulders, this guy is sleek; you wont notice the articulations.-Perfect weight and height: The figure feel as heavy as his size should be, again, unlike another figures like 17 and 18, that feel a little hollow.-Accurated sculpt: This guy just jump from the anime.-Love the damage head: yes, you could toss the bodyless head around and still looks cool.I really do not get how this guy has managed to stay in the same price range so much, considering how fast DBZ Figuarts get overpriced, but do not hesitate to grab him while you can, because is one of the best SH Figuarts from the loved Dragon Ball Z.Receive my SH Figuarts Android 16pre-ordered on March 29, 2015Got my delivery estimate dates on April 18 2015 shipped on 4/21/2015And receive it today ( 4/23/2015) earlier than excepted why I mention this for the ones that pre-ordered in-advance and still haven't received their delivery estimated dates ,Receive my in standard prime weak air bubble protection packagingI bought 3 very good price ??Received in brown out of boxMeasures to the tip of his hair around pretty close to 7 inchesComes with 3 headpieces total of 4And 1 pair of hands total of 2Removable forearms for his h%ll flash attack/techniqueVery minimum accessoriesBut overall he stands very solid great paint app's tight joints standardSH Figuarts articulationmust if you are a fan of SH Figuarts line ,DBZ , action figure collector or whatever purpose,this is a plus for me and looking forward upcoming releasesposted pictures hope it helps ??I don't normally write reviews for the figuarts because honestly they usually speak for themselves. Unfortunately, this one is kind of an exception. Don't get me wrong it is still a great figure...but it is not up to par with what I have come to expect from the line. Especially for the price point.The idea is that it is more expensive because it is a bigger figure but in reality it isn't much. It is barely, I mean barely, taller than Piccolo and maybe a little bulkier. Compared to Broly who retailed at only $5 more...well it doesn't compare. Broly came with one more set of hands, energy accessories, his own stand, and is still huge compared to 16! The next figure coming, Vegetto, while a little smaller has a lot more accessories and is over $20 cheaper than 16. I just don't get this ones price point.On top of that the shoulder guards, or whatever you want to call them, just feel awkward to me and they do not connect in the back which to be honest looks pretty bad. As others have said, the hands are a little weird because of the energy cannons but it doesn't bother me too much.All-in-all great figure but not for the price and sub-figuarts standard.Really nice figure of Android No. 16. He's one of the most underrated characters of the franchise and I'm honestly surprised Bandai decided to give him a figure. The articulation is great and he looks like he just came out of the show. My only grip is that the shoulder pad things look a little weird from the back where they connect to his body. This figure is also one of the largest S.H. Figuarts (second only to Broly). One of my favorite things about this figure is that he comes with his "damaged" face from when Semi-Perfect Cell attacked Android No. 16.This figure is definitely a good buy in my book.really i was harassed with this order a lot...but as a token of respect to 16 as character i decided to give it 5 stars..16 loved animals...and i supported wwf for this purchase..so do not want to make it ugly..so i went through the trouble..checked my anger and got it..Delivered today 9/16, i found the figure an elegant figure, the snapon hands were a pleasant surprise,along with the engraving on the inside. Everything was spot on. I found the head to be loose but not to the point where if you grabbed him by it the whole figure would fall. I'm a new collector and i found it to be a great addition to my collection, so if you're looking for a new figure this is itThe figurebis nicely sculpted and paint job is on point. But the lack of accessories makes the figure a bit boring to have on display. I only got it to accompany teen gohan and the android siblings. Otherwise not a very good stand alone figure.Bought for my son who is a big S.H. Figuarts fan.
