Very nice chain. Very heavy and a good buy for the price.The quality of the necklace is beautiful but I was not happy with it because the description states “vintage process to make it an aged look.” This necklace did not look aged. It was very shiny and I would have liked the black in the details. Also, the size was tight. I have a picture of an 18” necklace with the dragon 18” necklace & it was like a choker. I know the thickness of the necklace can cause this so I am ordering a 20” and I hope it comes aged looking and a bit longer.I have the same design in a bracelet and that looked aged.Guys I love silver, but this was not 0.925 SilverBut because of the appearance of the metal, I tested this, not once, but three times; with a portable metal analyzer, that can be referred as a common testing device call NITON TESTER. Very expensive… and very reliable.Why do I have access to this kind of equipment… because I am a non-precious metal trader.And I obtained the following reading: Ag (Silver) 81.42%; Zn (Zinc) 3.92% and Cu (Copper) 5.19%; and some reading low traces of Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, Chrome and Bromine, so is a cheap alloy, and not a very “healthy alloy”; you know that Lead and Cadmium are considered as poison, however, the reading of them are very low, as I said are just traces, but should not be there…!!!I need to say that when you are offering a “SILVER STERLING 0.925”, means that alloy should have at least a 0.925 ppm (parts per million) which can be translated to a 92.5% of Pure Silver content and a balance of 7.5% of Copper.Because of this I am very disappointed with the supplier and I do need to state this, clearly.Besides that, the combination of Zinc and Copper, will easily leave some dirty oxidation marcs in the skin and in the clothing. And the other tracing residual of the other elements, is to be thought. Be careful with thisBeautiful design , but a very much poor Silver alloy.Now this is what real quality is meant to be. It is one of the nicest chains I own. I also has become my favorite.For the price of this necklace, Why would a person buy Stainless Steel.Every piece of this necklace is great quality. The clasp works great, because if the weight of this chain it will not come undone accidentally. It is the only necklace that looks awesome when the dragon clasp ends up in front. In fact it looks so good, I am contemplating ways to have a ring for the pendant soldered to the center of the clasp.The necklace looks great with silver or black pendant.Make sure your pendant has a large 10mm (inner diameter) ring on it, as the dragons are pretty large.Do not even hesitate to buy this, it is worth every penny.I like the links of this necklace. They look like dragon scale in a way. The dragon heads are fairly large so if you have a charm to put on it, it will probably need a bigger ring to fit over the dragons head. I took it in to a jeweler for cleaning and to have a charm fitted to wear on it. The jeweler told me that the chain has more copper than usual 925 silver, hence the dull color, that is why I rate it at 3 stars. It is difficult to polish to a nice shine. He did warn me to beware of Chinese silver since extra copper is often added. Other than that I like it and will wear it.Great piece of jewelry. I ordered the 20" and it was a little snug on me. Nice choker for open collared shirts. Ordered another one at 23.6" and fits very perfect and I hang a Lord of the Rings "The One Ring" on it. If you get this you may want to also purchase the matching bracelet which is 7mm wide and looks amazing. Don't worry about the clasps. They are very easy to hook together and have never come apart while wearing. The aged look and the dragons make it a truly cool piece.I bought this for my son’s 18th birthday and I was very surprised how thick & heavy it was. It certainly isn’t a dainty piece or jewelry. Additionally It had a lot of detail to the heads of the dragon, and a unique look with the links actually being shaped as the scales of the body. My son and I were both very happy with the purchase.Was surprised when received it. I honestly didn’t think for that cheap is going to be that good. The only thing is there is no proof that is silver I didn’t see no 925 sign on it.
