Son Gohan for Sh Figuarts.Value: 2/10I started collecting this line recently and some of the older figures in the series have become very expensive to track down and this happens to be one of them. The hurts this figure in my opinion, he is great and the quality is exactly what you would expect, but the price for what you are getting is hard to swallow, so just keep that in mind.Sculpt/paint: Looks great - looks exactly like Gohan from the Cell Games. Please note this figure has the manga colors and not the colors for the anime. Even though I am a fan of the anime I find that the muted colors look great on these figures. Lets be honest here, Dragonball Z is an old anime and the colors vary a lot from episode to episode, so I am not really that picky about it. I don't care that his sash is red and not the blue color it was in the anime. If you want the anime colors you can pick up the SDCC exclusive version, but he is even more expensive.9/10Pose-ability - This figure can do just about anything that you would want him to. Ball joints just about everywhere and he feels pretty durable. Let your imagination run wild here. You will not let down here.10/10Accessories - Gohan comes with both ssj1 and ssj2 heads and a number of interchangeable faces and hands for different expressions. He also comes with the iconic cape. It looks great on the figure, but limits your ability to pose him because it is a plastic material. Gohan comes with no special effects or stand. It would have been nice to see him with a Masenko or Kamehameha effect8/10Packaging - I am only making a note of this because I've noticed some people are wondering. The box is the original Japanese release. It has very little english on it other than Super Saiyan Son Gohan and SH Figuarts and the official logos marking this as an official Japanese release. The Japanese releases have Gold stickers on them versus the silver stickers that the international version have. It will still fit in with your boxes. I believe figures are to be posed as a adult collector. However, the packaging really only has a piece of tape preventing you from opening. I highly recommend that you keep the packaging intact as this line has some serious value right now regardless if it has been opened are not.For S.H Figuarts collectors I recommend this figure. To the casual fan I think some of the other figures in the series are better than this Gohan. I currently own all in the line except SDCC exclusive versions, SS Vegeta, and SSJ3 Goku. So, I have a pretty good feeling for what is what. I would recommend base Goku for the casual fan. He comes with lots of expressions, and is a very well done figure. My personal favorite is probably Frieza though, they just really did everything right with that figure.The Gohan figure is amazing but there's just one tiny mistake with it the arm broke off as soon as I open the box. Well at least the data they have a ball on there so I can put it back in there without using any glue other than that it's pretty good well except for when you put the key part of the Super Saiyan Gohan had on there that will just fall off as soon as you as soon as you put it on. I want to superglue it on there because I'll just have a Super Saiyan 1 head and I won't be able to take off the clothes I don't want to do the same thing I did with the piccolo and it is bad I just took it off and don't put it back on it at least you can still change the faces but I think you should also put more faces for Super Saiyan 2 well at least they have a kind of equal but I think they should make one that's angry but makes direct eye contact not the one that's looking at the left or right side I'm tired of that just because it does what the Kamehameha wave it doesn't mean that you can't make the mad face look sideways. What are the rules that it is pretty cool I'll let you guys know if anything that happens with it after that, and I recommend you buy this because it is a must-buy action figure it is the best Gohan I have ever gotten and you could change Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 that's the only one I have that could do that is the goalkeeper Resurrection F but they don't even have to say it too and I can use the hair piece from Super Saiyan 2 Gohan and put it on Super Saiyan 1 Goku to make it look Super Saiyan 2 so I reckon but you and I recommend you buy this because it is a must-buy action figure it is the best Gohan I have ever gotten and you could change Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 that's the only one I have that could do that is the goalkeeper Resurrection F but they don't even have to say it too and I can use the hair piece from Super Saiyan 2 Gohan and put it on Super Saiyan 1 Goku to make it look Super Saiyan 2, so I recommend you buy this you could do a lot of creations with that it is just cool to have as a collectible or you can play with it as much as you like it's great for kids teens or adults the best ever.If your looking to complete your collection, the figure itself is fine. It is an older figure, so the engineering isn't super spectacular or anything, but it is still a good figure. I really only have two gripes, one of which is totally my own fault. 1) This figure is manga-accurate, not anime accurate. I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't also obtained the damaged up SS2 Gohan that is anime accurate. The second is that the paint on the face is a bit... strange. He is kind of pale and the really early figures are a bit too harsh on the face lines. However, I still have him set up on my display right now and it is a good figure - just know what you're getting with it. And for those wondering, the anime-accurate recolor of this sucker is crazy expensive - often goes for over $200 new. Given how old and somewhat dated the figure is, that might be too much of a hard sell.At this point I'm going all out on collecting the DBZ figures because they are so amazing! This figure (son Gohan ssj/ssj2) is proof of my opinion. Although it's stiff around the arms the articulation is there an plenty of it. The paint application are amazing but on some changable faces suffer of great detail. Yet again I must warn the buyer to be careful with these figures do to the exaggerated spiky hair. Gohan stands about 5inches tall due to the ssj 2 hair. I highly recommend this figure to any collector of anime or manga characters an especially to Dbz fans.Awesome came in brand new and packaged wonderfully! A+This was my first figuarts collectible and it was great at first. It got me hooked on collecting these high quality figures, but as i collected more and became more familiar with the quality of these figures, i noticed the quality of this figure is not as nice as others in the line. The leg joints also became a bit loose as time went on.This is a beautiful figurine with great articulation - the colours are based on manga colours not the anime but absolutely loved it. Goku SS2 looks fantastic.Great figure for a collector or just a fan of dbzLovely figure with great articulation and detail, far cheaper than the SDCC version too. Looks fantastic atop my computer desk. Great seller as well.Great attention to detail. I'm one of those collectors who will actually take it out of the box to have a play with and it's remarkable at how flexible and posable this figure is. Definitely buy a legit SHFiguarts model over the fakes, it's worth it and then some.Excellent figure
