Upon first, second, and third listening of this CD, I come to a realization. How could someone be so out of touch, yet appear to have such confidence in the product. Scenario: I'm thirty-something. I was moderately attractive (at one time). I have a minimal amount of talent. I know a good thirteen chords on the guitar! I had better get some songs together quick before the majors realize that I'm pushing forty...This gives the listener an idea of what to expect from this album. The backup band's performance is tight, but sterile. You can hear better vocals and lyrics on any given night at your local coffeehouse/pagan gathering. "Techno Phase" does its best to jump on the No Doubt bandwagon. The teenagers who hear this will laugh as Brooke falls off and mangles herself under the wheels of public radio. "Nothing To Say" is an apt title for a song that is featured on this demo. It's not that the CD is THAT bad. It's the most unmemorable album I've heard in a decade. I have nothing more to say...
