Setbacks put him thru a rollercoaster of introspection and ultimately growth in directions on his journey that he certainly did not expect. Everyone has their own journey which his uniquely their own experience. It was comforting to see the author open up and share his journey in this book. As most of us surely aren't always willing to be vulnerable...Yet alone to the eyes and minds of complete strangers. I must also add this...Dude has a very high fight IQ. A lot of his explanations and details on his battles in the cage are amazing. Combined with the colorful illustrations, it keeps the book light and entertaining. But this book is bigger than fighting. That's actually not what it's about at its core. Definitely check this book out. It doesn't take a fighter or martial artist to appreciate this read. "Just be."
