The blade is very dull but thick so you can sharpen it with the right tools to an acceptable amount. The hilt is split in two by the golden ring around the middle it unscrew into two pieces and while I thought there where three parts I was sadly mistaken it is very short I couldn't comfortably hold it like most polearms or spears. Now I understand that may he to the fact I am a 6'6 tall man so others may not run into the same problem. Although for those with a similar height to me I simply got some screws that fit got a shovel cut out a length I wanted drilled holes filled them with the screw and glue then simply painted it black which gave me a properly nice display piece suitable for use.
