Bought 3 of these in the three shortest sizes and gave them to the grandkids at Eastertime. I could not be happier than I am with this product!! The quality is fantastic - they are NOT paper or paper-like, they feel like the kind of lightweight reinforced fabric you'd expect a good kite to be made from? Perhaps nylon? Getting them ready to go was so simple; attach the hook to the wand. The 6-year-old had the middle length one going the minute she touched it and was creating stories and dance routines almost immediately. The three-year-old could do it, too, but of course his dragon "hugged" him a few times before he got the hang of which way the wind was blowing in relation to his body and the flow dragon. Seriously, these things are supercool FUN - and a good little physical workout to boot. The kids got them out over and over again and back outside they went. They were used on a lawn, but also got scraped many times on the concrete patio area on the downstroke, but do not show a single sign of damage or wear and tear. I expect they will last a good long time based on the first few days. This great, creative fun went on all weekend while we were there. The grownups loved both watching the Great Flying Dragons Show and flying them ourselves. Do figure eights, or circles above your head, or just hold it up like a windsock and move arm up and down and it "rides the waves". These get my very highest recommendation!! A really wonderful gift! Oh and the 6-year-old loved that her rainbow dragon has a bright red NAP sack to rest in when she's done flying him :)
